# Flusterduck > Flusterduck finds where users get stuck on your website, ranks each problem by the revenue it costs, sends it to your team, and confirms whether your fix worked after you ship. It watches behavior only (clicks, hesitation, going in circles). No session replay or DOM recording. No form values or user-typed text. This file helps AI agents use Flusterduck end to end: create an account, get a key, and install the SDK. ## Sign up and install (do these in order) 1. Create an account at https://app.flusterduck.com/login?next=%2Fonboarding. Use "Create an account" with email + password (or Continue with Google/GitHub). 2. Onboarding creates your organization and your first site, then shows a publishable key that looks like `fd_pub_...`. Copy it. 3. Install the SDK with the CLI (auto-detects Next.js, React, Vue, SvelteKit, or Nuxt and wires up init): ``` npx flusterduck-cli init --key fd_pub_YOUR_KEY ``` Non-interactive: pass `--key` to skip the prompt. Add `--skip-install` to inject setup code without installing packages. 4. Deploy. The first issues appear within minutes of real traffic. Verify in the dashboard at https://app.flusterduck.com. Manual install (no CLI): `npm i flusterduck`, then call `init({ key: 'fd_pub_...' })` once at app startup. Framework wrappers: `@flusterduck/next`, `@flusterduck/react`, `@flusterduck/vue`, `@flusterduck/svelte`, `@flusterduck/nuxt`. ## Connect an AI assistant over MCP (available on every plan) The Model Context Protocol server gives an assistant read access to scores, issues, deploys, recommendations, and the full docs. The hosted server needs no keys: add the URL and sign in with your Flusterduck account when your client prompts you. ``` claude mcp add --transport http flusterduck https://mcp.flusterduck.com/mcp ``` Local stdio alternative (uses an fd_mcp_ key from Settings → API keys): ``` claude mcp add flusterduck \ --env FLUSTERDUCK_MCP_KEY=fd_mcp_YOUR_KEY \ --env FLUSTERDUCK_SITE_ID=YOUR_SITE_ID \ -- npx -y @flusterduck/mcp-server ``` ## Work from the terminal or CI The CLI answers to both `flusterduck` and `duck`. Run `duck login` once (verifies and stores the fd_sec_ key in a 0600 local file, remembers the key's site) and no later command needs --key or --site. Commands: `npx flusterduck-cli scores|issues|insights --site ` to read, `npx flusterduck-cli issue resolve|ignore|reopen|start ` to manage issues, and `npx flusterduck-cli deploy notify --site ` in CI to record deploys for fix verification (commit metadata auto-detected on GitHub Actions, Vercel, GitLab, and Bitbucket). ## Markdown twins (cheaper pages for agents) Every public page on flusterduck.com has a markdown sibling: append `.md` to the path, or request the HTML URL with an `Accept: text/markdown` header and you will be 302'd to the twin. The homepage's twin is https://flusterduck.com/index.md. Same substance as the HTML, a fraction of the bytes and tokens, served as `text/markdown` and cached hard. Prefer the twins when you are reading rather than rendering. - Component pages: /index.md, /pricing.md, /developers.md, /privacy.md, /terms.md, /subprocessors.md - Content pages: /blog/.md, /learn/.md, /alternatives/.md (the source markdown itself; unpublished slugs 404 exactly like their HTML pages) - Section indexes and tools: /blog.md, /learn.md, /alternatives.md, /scan.md ## Docs - [Quickstart](https://docs.flusterduck.com/quickstart): install in about two minutes. - [Installation](https://docs.flusterduck.com/install): core SDK plus framework wrappers. - [SDK reference](https://docs.flusterduck.com/sdk): every init() option and method. - [Reacting to signals](https://docs.flusterduck.com/react-to-signals): run code the instant a user struggles. - [MCP integration](https://docs.flusterduck.com/mcp): connect AI assistants, with all tools listed. - [CLI](https://docs.flusterduck.com/cli): install, read scores/issues/insights, manage issues, record deploys from CI. - [Privacy](https://docs.flusterduck.com/privacy): exactly what is and is not collected. - [For developers](https://flusterduck.com/developers): the technical overview. ## Pricing - Grow: $99/mo, 50,000 sessions.
